The TASKBOARD – a local organization page of the Innovative Community of Electrical Students (ICES) recognize Its responsibility of protecting personal data collected from every electrical student as part of its operations as a local organization from the College of Technology Management of the University of Makati.
As such, the ICES ensure that only students and advisers that are part of the Electrical Course (BSET) from the College of Technology Management of the University of Makati and person who are considered by the local organization are considered as the member. In compliance with the Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its implementing rules and regulations, and other issuances of the National Privacy Commission, the ICES declare that data subject, personal information, and other required information that are collected from its users are for the school purposes only.
1. The data collected and generated shall be processed and retained in compliance with RA 9470, otherwise known as the National Archives of the Philippines Act of 2007, its implementing rules and regulations, and relevant general circulars issued by the National Archives of the Philippines.
2. The data collected and generated shall be processed and accessed by ICES officers designated as a data controller and/or data processor.
3. The data collected and generated are protected from accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration and disclosure, fraudulent misuse through sufficient and effective organizational, physical and technical security measures, hence for school purposes only.
4. As data subject, you have the right to be given access to your personal data upon request, dispute any inaccuracies or errors found, removal of personal data from data controller’s filing system found to be outdated, false or illegally obtained.
5. Please be informed that the provision of personal data is a requirement for filing of concerns (for students), display of names for profiling (officers), and for notifications and updates of agendas post by the local organization (ICES) on the page (TASKBOARD) purposes only.
