Below are important legal terms that apply to anyone who visits our page or uses our services. These terms are necessary in order to protect both you and us, and to make our services possible and more enjoyable for every electrical students of the University of Makati.
We do highly appreciate any suggestions on how we can improve our services, you are more than welcome to contact us.
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. Our Purpose
Our services offer our fellow electrical students of our beloved alma mater (University of Makati) to be easily get notified with the past, ongoing and upcoming events such as: programs, activities and announcements of the University and the local org. Furthermore, the page also offers other features such as the reminders on the University calendar, downloadable files and forms, and most importantly to serve as a help desk support for assisting the well-being of all electrical students.
1.2. Legal Agreement
These Taskboard Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”), together with the additional terms of the Wix website which render the services and features as presented on the taskboard website, all set forth the entire terms and conditions applicable to each visitor or user (student and other visitors) of the ICES website (Taskboard).
The Taskboard constitute a binding and enforceable legal contract between Wix.com Ltd. and its affiliated companies and subsidiaries worldwide for the use of Wix Services to provide the needs for our Local organization’s page.
You visit and/or use the ICES Organization page Services which means you fully agree to the Taskboard Terms - and by using and/or registering to the Local org’s page, you signify and affirm your informed consent to these Terms of Use and also the all Terms applicable to your use of any services.
By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read our local org’s Privacy Policy.
2. Your Obligations
2.1. You undertake and agree to:

2.2. User Account (for Officers)
In order to access and use certain sections and features of the Taskboard Services, you must first register and create an account with taskboard (“User Account”). All officers of the ICES local Organization are obliged to sign-up for the purpose of profiling (displaying his/her name as the member of the Officers on the officer’s booth section), above all this will serve as an agreement for the responsibilities that he/she will be of help in serving his/her fellow electrical students through the services features in this page.
The President together with the PIO (Public information Officer) and the Publicity Committee will be the one liable for all agendas that will be posted in the page.
2.3. All users (Electrical students)
Every electrical student is highly expected to provide email and be notified by all posts on the page.
All emails and details that will be provided by the students are agreed upon to be used ONLY for SCHOOL PURPOSES.
All are encouraged to share all post at their content’s heart in other social medias. (Facebook, Instagram, twitter, and etc…)
2.4. Help desk support
The help desk support officers are the one who will assist every concerns and issues submitted and appealed by the electrical students.
3. Content and Ownership
3.1. Taskboard’s Intellectual Property
Taskboard shall own all intellectual property pertaining to the User Content and to any other materials created, including to any designs, images, animations, videos, audio files, fonts, logos, illustrations, compositions, artworks, code, interfaces, text and literary works.
All links, important University’s posts, files and forms are provided for the purpose of ease of access of the Students and for school purposes only.
3.2. Other Owners Intellectual Property
Credits are highly given to all rightful owners for all the logos/pictures/information/ media used. The School Organization (ICES) agrees not to use the Services negligently, for fraudulent purposes or in an unlawful manner, hence for school purposes only. Likewise, the organization agrees not to partake in any conduct or action that could damage the image, interests or rights of the Website or third parties, particularly, the owners of the Collaborators Content, the Third Party Content or the Sponsored Content, its design, and source code, and all content included in any of them (including without limitation text, images, animations, databases, graphics, logos, trademarks, icons, buttons, pictures, videos, sound recordings, etc.)
